Damn good deal for an 83". It shares the name with the S90C, but it's using an LG WOLED panel.

.gov or edu won't work for this deal. You need to have access to EPP to get the pricing op has mentioned. I can create an epp account for you. Trading $5 amazon. Dm if interested.

Did you get answer for this?
No answer but the document I got from care+ showing start date same as order date (not even the delivery date) and valid for two years only.. this is scam, they usually charge $199 for the 2 years while in fact it's only 1 year as care + kicks in only after the manufacturer warranty

Has anyone experienced screen freezing issues with the TV? Watching the Super Bowl and the paramount app had frozen 4 times already and each time I had to turn off the TV and restart. Also, when searched online seems like a very common issue with the TV.
I didn't setup mine yet, but my friend used it for a week now and it keeps restarting at its own , he told me it restarted/rebooted over 3 times in the last 1 hour and on average of 5 times every day. He is returning it and buying LG.. I'm afraid I might do the same after Samsung being dishonest with me too, the care plus is actually 1 year only as it starts counting from the order date and cannot be used until manufacturer warranty is over. In addition to that, after placing my first order, and before delivery, wanted to add the speaker bundle , they told me to cancel the first order and place it again with bundle and assured me over phone and by multiple emails that I'd be able to reuse all my discounts, then my referral code didn't reset, and my newsletter code neither. Do they still emailed me to place the order and they'd do price match after delivery. I received mine yesterday and has been calling/emailing them for the price match refund with no luck, they simply refused to do so despite all the emails I have from them

It's been almost 8-10 times now..such a disappointment. Invited friends over for a watch party and it has been a big embarrassment so far 😳

Oh no, I think I need to return mine then.. I guess it's not worth setting it up either.. and Samsung wasted a lot of my time with all the lies and fake promises.. I'm just not sure whether I should return the Q990s speakers as well or keep them? I'm afraid I might not get full compatibility between the Samsung speakers and the LG C3 as that would be my next pick..

Sorry to hear about peoples troubles… my 83" S90C hooked up to an Apple TV 4K has been rock solid and looks amazing after using the iPhone for calibration.

Also, watching Masters of the Air on Apple TV with my Denon 7.1 Atmos Surround on this TV rivals almost any movie theater experience.

The paramount app froze for me today as well with my old tv. Me thinks got nothing to do with the S90C but an streaming issue with the paramount app

It's the Paramount app. Wasn't able to handle everyone watching Superbowl at the same time.

Does anybody have llike a large or deep enough TV stand for this?
I have a q990c sound bar that I have and want to place in front of it. How do the people that don't have it hanging have it setup?

There are lots of TV stands that have a soundbar shelf built into it. The standard for large sizes seems to be 15.75" deep for the top shelf where the TV will sit. Looking for anything deeper will severely limit your choices and severely increase your prices. Fortunately the pedestal stand these TV's use is well under 15.75" so you'll have lots of options.

they have shelfs yes but they block the dolby atmos speakers that are on the top of the soundbar firing up

I couldn't get them to give me the 10% off via chat. They gave me the Care+ but said they can't apply the 10% on top of the EPP. What is everyone saying to the chat reps to get them to apply the code?

I took delivery on Wednesday and paid the guys $20 to unbox and set it up on the stand so I could check for dead pixels and making sure I could power it on.

I ordered this mount from Amazon and it works great;
https://a.co/d/8S4iQgz

Came from a 2018 LG OLED C7 that is amazing. Sold it for $650 today.

This TV out of the box is just as amazing. It is massive. 61% more screen area. I will spend time this weekend dialing it in and posting pictures.

Thank you to everyone that helped me decide this was the best value and not to worry about the hype of QD.

Thanks to Sam.Thomas for the EPP hook up.

Thank you to the SD community for keeping the FatWallet spirit alive.
I'm surprised someone would by a C7 from 2017 for $650. What an upgrade!? Enjoy it!
