Scooped up a red sparkle today. As much as I thought I'd be upset about no tremolo, it was also a relief…Nice to not have to deal with a Floyd Rose (yes, I have other Hammett sig and really like them). As much as I wanted a black sparkle, the red looked damn good in person. Plays and sounds great. The first riff I played was Creeping Death! 🤘🏻

At this price, I wouldn't think 2x. Grab one if you're on the fence!

Call brick and mortar GC's. If they have them in stock they will honor price and ship to ya ... That's what the staff told me after driving an hour to pick em up.

Picked up the last factory sealed black one this morning. There was dude buying the gold floor model when I left the store, good thing I called and paid for it over the phone. Anyway same issue almost right above the neck pu. Bit of a nitpick though, more of a very small "glitterless" void. Nature of the beast with a glitter type finish. Doesn't bother me enough to return it. Also had a nasty scratch on the pickguard, but luckily it was the protective plastic. Set up was great outta the case. Just spent the last hour playing it, it's a keeper. Tempted to look for the red only because I was gonna buy this regardless. Put it off cuz I couldn't decide between the black or red. Glad I waited, though.

What paperwork is it supposed to have? Mine just came with esp stickers. Was kind of expecting some kind of COA or something like that

My Red one had an ESP microfiber cloth, the case keys and some LTD stickers. Gold one had stickers and case keys, no microfiber.

Went to my local GC, they checked the stock and had a red sparkle in. Just came in, brand new, still in the ESP box. Pulled it out for me, guitar looked perfect so I bought it for $899. I see a key in the case, but no paperwork or anything.

I got keys and hex wrenches. No sticker, cloth, or anything.

I'll say that their Quality Control on the guitars is excellent, but the fact that different cases come with different items inside sucks LOL

Likely has to do with the fact that they produce many of the same models in two different factories, in Indonesia and Korea.

They would not ship to me, luckily the store is only an hour from here, so I'm heading there tomorrow to pick it up after I paid for it today on the phone.
