Scooped up a red sparkle today. As much as I thought I'd be upset about no tremolo, it was also a relief…Nice to not have to deal with a Floyd Rose (yes, I have other Hammett sig and really like them). As much as I wanted a black sparkle, the red looked damn good in person. Plays and sounds great. The first riff I played was Creeping Death! 🤘🏻

At this price, I wouldn't think 2x. Grab one if you're on the fence!

Call brick and mortar GC's. If they have them in stock they will honor price and ship to ya ... That's what the staff told me after driving an hour to pick em up.

If this had a whammy bar I'd be all over it. Don't play metal often enough to justify keeping multiple 'metal' guitars, and definitely need whammy for some stuff.

I play in church 70% of the time 😂. I just like the way the V body style fits on me. 🤷

Don't need to be Metal to have good taste in guitars. 😂

When you try to find this guitar on Guitar center's website?
The price was never available on the website anyways, and their stock system sucks. I got my Gold and Red ones when the store site showed both were out of stock. Better off going to the store.

Yeah, I was able to call the store directly and get one purchased over the phone that I can go pick up later. I wanted to go back to their website to confirm a couple things as I purchased before actually confirming that it had stainless steel frets and comes with a case which both are true. But when I went back I saw that it was no longer there, no matter how I tried to get to it. It made me wonder if they did that sale and didn't plan on carrying that model anymore, for whatever reason. But I'm sure it's like you said, their website and inventory tracking has always been suspect.

Hey bud, yes this guitar comes with a case, but it does not have stainless steel frets.

As the other poster mentioned, these have a case, but definitely NOT SS frets.

The first store I called in Nashville said the same thing, they directed me to the other store which did have one in stock. but I think that's the kicker, if they don't physically have one they won't honor that price for any kind of web order or back order. that's what they told me anyway. keep calling stores till you find one in stock and then see if you can sweet talk them in the mailing it to you. they refused for me but somebody else said that they did it for them.
