This is a great low cost printer. Yes there are generic ink cartridges out there for as low as $17.50 for all four on ebay. I just ordered some for mine about a week ago. No refillables out there yet, but I am going to keep checking since that is the best way to go. My last Brother had easy to use refillables and they worked out great.
