I've never played any guitar with a bigsby that stays in tune well without a few mods. $10 soft spring from Reverend and graphite lube for the nut makes a world of difference.

UGHHH, this is killing me. I held off the last few posts and it's coming back. Is this not popular or they just want to move inventory???

If I needed a guitar I would totally buy this. The bigsby alone is like $100 I think.

Walnut Stain and Stirling Green (which is more of a grey) both appear to be on sale as well.

Pretty tempting. Already have an Epiphone Sheraton II Pro, which is a bit higher end than this Gretsch. BUT, I wouldn't mind a slightly smaller body and a Bigsby. Decision....

I got the green color back in November for this price. It looks more like smoke/gray which actually looks really nice. I haven't had a chance to play it much yet but it's not a bad guitar. These don't come with a Gretsch bag or anything, but Adorama had included a generic gig bag at the time.

While these look amazing, they don't play very well. I had one for a while that I also bought from one of these deals. Very difficult to keep in tune. Sold it for a bit of a profit.

I bought the one without the Bigsby last time it was listed. I decided to sell that one and buy the Stirling Green version with the Bigsby with this deal. The guitar itself is quite nice. Even the stock pickups are decent. I was going to replace them with a set of Filtertrons, buy I may just keep them.

I love me some Bigsby but have never owned one. My Les Paul copy has Filterons which I also love. Unfortunately, I just bought a 5th guitar 6 months ago. Are these any good? I like Grestch but this price is almost too good to be true.

Bought the non tremelo one a while back for $239. Cheapeast guitar I own by quite a bit. It's been a nice guitar and came close enough to setup to pick up and play. Got the midnight saphire one. Like it a lot. I think it was normally $499 everywhere else not on sale/closeout. Somewhere between my made in America Fender and a Squire I own. 30 years ago you couldn't even think of picking up a guitar for near this price and getting anywhere near this quality. At some point in the future I might change the tuners to locking ones. But that's just nit picking at this point. It's a nice guitar and nobody will know if you don't tell them. I have a 2420 as well and I paid about $500 for it and close to the same quality.

Looks like automation improvements are finally getting to the semi-and full-hollow body electrics.

The low cost guitars are getting embarrassingly good in many cases.

I love mine. I know people complain about the Bigsby making it harder to stay in tune, and I'm sure it does a little bit, but at least my guitar doesn't really move too much. The tuners are good and easily put it right back into tune.

For the price, my kids and I are playing it and very much enjoying the sound and comfort on it so far.

Impressive packaging and build quality for the price.
