Wow, nice selection if you don't have too many of them already. $3/bit is great for a name brand like Bosch.

I've bought a few Bosch bits by the piece. I think I have five or six and spent more than this assortment costs. I've had excellent luck with them so far.

Yes, these are 1/4 shanks (generally palm routers). As long as your router takes that size, it will work.

I recently bought the Lowes Skil 30 piece set for $70. Haven't used them yet but they had good reviews and as a DIYer I didn't need name brand. Last day of the sale is today

Would this still be worth it for the full size router? Got the big Bosch one recently and haven't started doing anything with it so not too sure on what bits to start with

Got this as my first set at $110. I like them. Cuts are quite smooth.

If by big one you mean the popular 1617 or the newer MRC23 (which I think is just an upgraded 1617) then it likely came with an adapter to use 1/4" bits. But I personally find that router too large for many tasks which these bits would really excel at. You could absolutely use them, but these bits excel in what are called "Palm routers". They're small and light enough to be used 1 handed.

If you end up getting into woodworking, you'll almost certainly pick up more routers, they're such versatile tools. At last count, I had 5 of them (a 1617 that sits in my router table, an MRC23 that I use for bigger tasks with 1/2" bits, 2 Dewalt palm routers with different bases attached, and 1 ridgid palm router that I bought before I knew anything about routers and now has a dedicated edge banding base on it). Having 5 is mostly just to save time from having to switch bases up when I want to do something else. I could definitely get by with 2-3.

I highly recommend the Dewalt Palm Router or Milwaukee. Skip the Ryobi and Ridgid, although someone mentioned Ridgid may have recently come out with an updated model that is much better than their old one. I think Makita is also supposed to be pretty good.
