I have a series 9 which is the "best" they make and it is only just decent as far as shaving goes and I don't even have that much to shave each day. Quality is pure garbage though and I had to send in several times for warranty issues and about 2 months after the 2 year warranty expired it failed yet again for an issue they already fixed 3 times before.

I think I might get this Series 3 though for my son.

Edit: Nevermind, this is just the regular Series 3. I'd rather spend the extra money and get a Series 3 ProSkin instead as it has a better head and more features.

It's a "decent" shaver but never have understood why there's not a "great" shaver on the market…maybe cause I'm not shopping in high end prices ranges? Idk

thats weird i got this for $10 about 2 weeks ago at walgreens and mine has the builtin trimmer
Same here. It shaves, but I wouldn't call it a close shave. It's more of a time-saving shaver in the car or quick touch ups. Haven't used this wet or with gels yet so maybe that's the difference. But if I'm going to use a gel, I'll stick with my cheap blades from Harry's.

This is by far the worst shaver I have ever used. I had a $20 travel shaver that was better than this. I left my 7 series while visiting my folks back home and thought this would tide me over until I got it back. It gets the job done but in a truly awful way.

I've only used a bevel safety razer for most of my life. Like your dad would use. It's the best shave you can get imo. Bic suck and electric just don't save close enough. And it's cheap!!!

How does it work for pubes and balls? Regular razors are just giving me ingrown hairs and I don't want to use them no more. Looking for suggestions and alternatives.

first electric shaver I've purchased and was let down. Not sure if it is this model or all of them, but it takes a lot of work to get a good shave.

They should call this the "Braun Razor Burner." Folks, the series 3 is TERRIBLE. I own one, which was purchased as a replacement for a series 1000 Braun I'd owned for 20 years. The old series just needed the foil replaced once every year or so, but was otherwise fine.

The Series 3 razor left me with several rashes on my neck. They were so nasty looking and bad that they required medicine from a dermatologist to clear. Folks, I've been shaving with Braun Electric razors since the 1990s and this had never happened.

AVOID THIS RAZOR. I created an account with SD just to warn folks about how bad this product is. The series 3 razor is borderline negligent and I wouldn't be surprised if these end up getting recalled.

This is a TERRIBLE PRODUCT. DO NOT BUY

It's this model. It's literally the worst product Braun has ever made.

I feel as if quality control at Braun has gone downhill. The old series 1000 razors were tanks.

I bought a series 3000 after my old razor finally died. Worst mistake I've ever made. The 3000 series did a terrible job AND gave me a nasty rash.

I have this shaver and it works great for me when I use it. The one I purchased also came with attachments so not sure if exact but the shaver is the exact same.

There is a learning curve to using the shaver but I use it dry to cut hair and have no issues. I got it to upgrade from a rotary shaver that always seemed to miss hair. This shaver by far has been the best for me over the years.

Even my wife occasionally asks to use it for her legs when she doesn't want to use a straight razor.

I would purchase again but the one I have is still going strong since 2019.

What in the overpriced crap? They look cool but they're just safety razors, why would you pay that much for them? And they're selling common Feather blades for like a dollar per blade, that's ridiculous.

I've had this model for about five years and it's good as a secondary shaver (when I'm lazy and don't want to shave with a blade). There is a trim kit that makes this a much more useful product. With the trim kit, my wife cut my hair during the pandemic.

Try Babyliss Pro FX3. Gets me closer than any Braun or Norelco.
