Pretty sure that all of these, including the non sugar free or zero varieties have Sucralose as an ingredient in addition to sugar/hcfs. It's a shame, as I get a strong aftertaste from it. I miss the old versions when they first released Sodastream with only sugar.
Went to the Sodastream site to find the ingredients. Same nutrition facts image on their page with ingredients listed, so Amazon intentionally removed them?
For Starry (non sugar free)
Sugar, Water, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Sucralose, Acesulfame Potassium, Natural Flavor, Sodium Benzdate
So both Sucralose AND Acesulfame Potassium in this. regular Pepsi also has both artificial sweeteners along with invert sugar.
I mean if the whole point is to make it at home then why do they put in fake sugar. Just make 2 versions sugar free and regular sugar.

I'm with you… I'd rather drink fewer regular sodas, I don't want to buy artificial sweeteners at all.

It's also frustrating that you go to buy the regular Starry thinking 🤔 I'm good as I'm not buying diet/sugar free version. Just to get home and taste it and it tastes like crap. Might as well just buy a case of soda.

I think it's because for it to have the same amount of sugar as regular pepsi the bottle would be much larger and need nearly a kilogram of sugar. As is the current bottle has 288 grams of sugar for 24 servings.
I think it's about 39g to 41g of sugar per 12oz can. Maybe even up to 44g. So yeah that sounds about right 1 kg of sugar for the whole bottle.
If coke ever does it, I'm sure to get diabetes. Please don't do it Coca-Cola.

Yea it has a nasty aftertastes, now I just go buy the box of syrup from the coca cola bottling plant near me. They refill CO2 tanks as well so when I run out I grab a box of syrup and re-up my CO2 tank
I don't think the issue is with diet sodas from soda stream, it's the regular sodas tasting like the diet ones or an in-between flavor. As for me I don't like the taste of artificial sweeteners and when I got the soda stream syrup for starry to me it tasted like gross diet soda aftertaste. It would be great if soda stream went back to having regular syrups with no artificial sweeteners but until that happens I'll keep getting my syrup boxes from coca cola

Thank you for saving me the trouble of having to look up the ingredients. All of these syrups from Sodastream are just plain nasty, with all their "regular" sodas being half diet.
I'll stick to plain water or occasionally flavor it with citrus juice.
I drink 3-4L per day.
