what y'all scrubbing?
I pulled down my aluminum storm windows this fall and scrubbed them with drill attachment brushes. Made the chore way easier.

This tool has always piqued my interest, but I wondered the same thing- why not use a drill or a nut driver? Is there an advantage to this?
It's waterproof. I use the telescoping version to clean vinyl sidings and windows and the tub. It works well for me.

I suppose you could use a regular drill, and I have thought about doing that, but for me it would be a chore in itself trying to keep it dry.

I don't know very many people with waterproof drills and those that have them paid a shitload for that feature.

I use this to clean the waterline (and a bit below the waterline) of my boat in the marina. Works great and I would never subject my drill to that kind of saltwater abuse.
How far below the waterline? I was looking at this for my boat as well. What brush heads?

The specs say 3', but I've only gone about a foot down. The yellow brush it comes with is fine for the algae and schmoo that tends to grow there. If you've got barnacles, that's a whole different story.

Just use a Drill and buy the scrubber attachments. Much more efficient. And you can get a 20 pack of drill scrub attachments from Amazon for $20-$30
TLDR: This is the tool your wife will be happy you purchased. It makes life easier when paired with the battery powered Ryobi washer (40V preferred.)

Why not a drill?
This spins more rpms than most drills, especially your cheap ones you would be using instead. It's a bit more ergonomic than holding a drill ESPECIALLY for arthritis or those that can't constantly hold in the drill trigger. It's designed for wet situations.

Sure, use your cheap drill when water is not involved and you aren't cleaning for more than a minute or two.

Main use:
Pair this with the Ryobi EZ power washer, use that first with 5 gallon water bucket, in your bathroom to cut down on cleaning time and actually improve the annoying experience somewhat.

Secondary use:
Cleaning rims

Third use:
Spring cleaning (your yearly house scrubbing)

It will serve you well for the above and more importantly it allows us to mentally clean more as the job is quicker and less cumbersome now with this tool.

I have the extendable one so I can clean while standing up. It's been great for cleaning my deck.

Before on the right and after on the left.

No, it's the complete opposite. This spins at 210 RPM which is slower than drills. This is good because it minimizes spraying of the soap/scum all over everything.

lmao says the ones that got laid off.
also fed said higher for longer oops.

and backlog of new housing construction kept off mls inventory data. for those of us that look we know.

remember this is slickdeals the old timers know where to look you can only trick the newcomers.
drill not being water proof....so now I'm going to pay 40 dollars for something I already have or could be had for 5-10 bucks....
It sucks that you personally lost your job, but the country as a whole is doing well. And no, you can't get a waterproof drill for 5-10 bucks. They're more like $500 to a $1000. For $42, this waterproof scrubber is a comparative bargain.

Whoa I'm game for anything to make bathroom and shower cleaning more efficient!

So power washing showers is the way to go?

Will it lead to grout cracking sooner from the pressure wash?

Can this be used to replace having to buy and waste money on toilet paper ๐Ÿงป? It seems like it would pay for itself in a short time.

Drill can be pretty unwieldy. Especially if you're doing a large enough surface.
Not much water resistance with a drill, either.
