What if I keep the battery and return the drill. The 2.0 amp battery for $38 seems like a good deal. Yes or no

While nice to make use of all the Ryobi batteries, I'd rather get something like this https://a.co/d/8KvY9Cl

Whoa I'm game for anything to make bathroom and shower cleaning more efficient!

So power washing showers is the way to go?

Will it lead to grout cracking sooner from the pressure wash?
It's suggested to check for water leaks before you do so. The power of the battery washers is much less than typical washers making it safe to use in the bathroom (especially the 18v if worried but the 40v is more useful outside) but I don't use the 40v high powered nozzle on direct caulk. Just use the general spray then go behind it with this tool to be safe and direct nozzle elsewhere. I haven't had issue using it directly on flooring grout once a year but usually general nozzle every 3 months or so, slightly more in shower.

Works good having a shop vac and squegee/fans if you don't have a linear drain.

The Ryobi can be submerged in up to 3' of water. That Amazon special can not.

It's waterproof. I use the telescoping version to clean vinyl sidings and windows and the tub. It works well for me.

I suppose you could use a regular drill, and I have thought about doing that, but for me it would be a chore in itself trying to keep it dry.
OK cool- didn't realize it was waterproof.

Looks like another thing to add to my green wall of Ryobi shame laugh out loud

I would buy this, but I really despise "hacks". Maybe it will show up on DTO factory blem. I can live without it until then.

Seems kinda gimmicky. Just buy a scrubber attachment for your existing drill for a few bucks and use a spray bottle.

Drill can be pretty unwieldy. Especially if you're doing a large enough surface.
M12 drill isn't unwieldy. This just seems like a waste to me. Maybe I'm missing something

Has anyone noticed what this goes on sale for on the direct tools outlet sales? When they have the 40% off and free shipping etc.
I checked my email from last year on 2/6/23, I got this for $36 with free shipping. Regular price was stated at $60.

Anybody use this for washing dishes? Seems like that would work well in that regard? Thought not sure if there is a smaller attachment head.
A machine called a dishwasher is more effective and easier.

Yeah, depends on your use case. Me, I'm using this to clean the bathroom shower walls and the like.

Tried the pole version some years ago. I didn't realize the trigger was click-on/click-off but the performance left a lot to be desired so it doesn't matter anyway. Don't apply pressure, almost no cleaning of the shower. Pressure, the motor doesn't have the torque. Returned. It's the only Ryobi product I've ever been unhappy with.

If I had to deal with a sufficiently wet environment I could see use for this. Sticking a brush in my Ryobi drill works far better on the shower.

I wanted to get it last week but it was only available for store pickup. I believe for the same price 42$.
