Heads-up for anyone considering this rebate as of March 1:

It looks like the list of participating retailers has been drastically reduced ā€” Home Depot / Advance Auto / Autozone / Oreilly (to name a few I can recall) are now all INELIGIBLE!

Per the fine print:
"Sponsor may amend, modify, cancel or extend this offer, at any time, without notice."

Buyer beware, pennzoil's track record with these rebates is on the decline.

Walmart and Walmart.com are two separate entities and orders placed online are walmart.com. I found this out when I had an issue with a tire order. The store guys couldn't help me because it was a walmart.com order and I had to take it up with them.

Never had a problem with 5-6 Pennzoil rebates I've done in the past few years. One instance I had to provide more info the product was delivered from Amazon. Takes a long time but if you play their game, you will get it.

Given these are digital rebates now, any reason not to just use multiple email addresses you own and family addresses for multiple rebates? You could separate each purchase into 2 5qt jugs. Do they look at the CC name/number? If they do I just pay cash I suppose.

As long as each email address and physical address is unique and each order is separate I don't see how it would run afoul of the rules. This is what I did in years past, and would have it shipped to my elderly parents, change their oil for them and take any extra back home.
