You're not wrong, because I've seen it happen with TV show episodes of "The Office," "The Simpsons," and "Tom and Jerry."

From wiki: Two shorts – His Mouse Friday, which depicts cannibals, and A Mouse in the House, which shows Mammy getting spanked repeatedly by Tom and Butch in the end resulting in racial abuse – have been removed from circulation. Two others in particular – Casanova Cat, which features a scene where Jerry's face is blackened by Tom with cigar smoke and he is forced to perform a minstrel dance, and Mouse Cleaning, where Tom is shown with blackface speaking in a stereotypical "Negro dialect" – were omitted from DVD/Blu-ray releases. Notably the other two – Fraidy Cat, showed Tom biting Mammy in the rear near the end, and The Mouse Comes to Dinner, including Jerry briefly dressing up as a Native American stereotype during the beginning – have Mammy edited in complete absence.

iTunes has added this disclaimer for this "Tom and Jerry" series:

Disclaimer: These animated shorts are products of their time. Some of them may depict some of the ethnic and racial prejudices that were commonplace in American society. The depictions were wrong then and wrong today. While the following does not represent the Warner Bros. view of today's society, these animated shorts are being presented as they were originally created, because to do otherwise would be the same as claiming these prejudices never existed.

Just torrented the blue rays of this and the Tex Avery droopy collections. The classics still hold up. Racism and all. Love it just as much as I did as a kid. A lot of these were still being shown uncensored in the 80s.

I tried to purchase this through my Apple TV box, but its search couldn't locate it. I instead went to the original link above (I did this on my Windows 10 PC, by the way) and clicked on the Open Link in iTunes link. Don't be deterred by the message that says "Your purchases have moved"; if you do let it open in iTunes (I still have it installed on my PC (your mileage may vary), but it opened to this selection and let me go ahead and buy it. I can now view it on the Roku and Windows AppleTV apps as well as my AppleTV box. I hope this helps others.

Im only seeing Volume 1, 37 episodes on Blu-ray for $22. This is 6 volumes and 119 episodes for $20.

Am I missing something?

This is a good deal. Potential and existing censorship aside, it's nice to have all these in HD. While you can get a complete set on DVD, there was only one Blu-ray set released, containing 37 episodes, with the rest of the volumes being scrapped. So I'm in! It is extremely annoying that they aren't in release order though >Frown

Apple needs to fix the links to the store. It takes to the iTunes Store and the it says that they have moved to the TV app and that's it.
