I believe the main difference between the two is the rears. This one doesn't have upfiring speakers on the rears and the rears need to be wired to the receiver (the 990c they're wireless and just need to be plugged into power). I have the 990C and it's great- haven't had this one though so can't compare.

Odd. When I log in I can get the $504.00 price to show on the page, but it reverts back to $900 at checkout. Makes sense... there's no way they'd sell this at $504.

If you bought it before than it will show you full price not promotion price

This is a totally different matchup than the 990. The 900c has the same soundbar and sub but no rears. This has a different sub and soundbar. I believe it is not as powerful from all my research.

I got the 990c for $700 recently. This was showing up as $500 too. It is real if you can get it to work

Able to get it to go through for $535 after tax. The first attempt flipped it to $900 after a few seconds in the cart. Tried again and hit complete check out immediately and it went through. Weird stuff, but seems to be going through at discount price.
