Sweet, post one from a reputable brand around this price pointā€¦ I'll waitā€¦
This is a great nailer at a great price. it did not leave deep marks in the wood when I used it, compared to the HF junk I had laying around.
Nearly 3,000 reviews, 4.6 out of 5 average rating; seems to be rated rather favorablyā€¦

Yea it sucks because I want to get both a small compressor and brad nailer for my basement but I need to get a quiet air compressor (don't want it louder than my furnace). I was thinking about getting a California Air Tools 1 gallon compressor and then either this nail gun or the Bostich.

I have Hitachi and Metabo nailers and use their quiet compressor. It works as intended and is a lot easier to carry around when doing more volume in someone's house.

Well the 15 gauge $88 Milwaukee 18v one from Home Depot this week meets your criteria because the battery and charger alone make up for the price difference.

Was going to buy them read the reviewsā€¦ lots of jamming

Sometimes nails could be culprit as well though or not keeping them dry and moisture free. My friend had a ton of galvanized ones that weren't kept dry and it has white oxidation in them which caused jams every few nails as soon as I used shiny new ones I had gun started working like new.
I do expect gun from China or Taiwan to have more issues than original ones that were made in Japan but wouldn't exclude user error as well in some cases.
From my experience Ridgid 18GA is the one I would recommend (at least older models) that thing would survive through dust, dirty nails etc.

It said one left in stock, I ordered, and still says one left in stock. So I don't know what the deal is with that.

Anyways, I use one of these daily, got this as a backup, it's a great brad nailer.

I picked this up last sale and have experienced some jamming if I put more than one clip at a time in it. Otherwise it has been flawless. I wouldn't buy it again if I were using it every day, but for project work it's great.

I just got a small Makita 135psi quiet series compressor from Home Depot. Super quiet and recovers very fast. I absolutely love it so far.

for just a brad nailer just get a Senco PC1010 great little light mobile compressor. I wouldn't try to frame a house with it tho =P but for pin, brads, finish nails is fine.

Solid nailer. I use a couple of these in my business and found them to be very reliable over the years. I haven't had any issues with nail jams other than hitting an unseen object in the wood . I just keep them oiled and use Metabo nails. It is better quality than the Harbor Freight guns that I have tried and in fact I have have had far less issues with this gun than the more expensive Bostitch Smartpoint and Makita Af506. Another low cost 18g I have had good success with is the Bostitch SB-1842bn. Solid gun, not fancy, but sometimes you can find them for not much more than this deal.

I think the California air tools 1 gallon is quieter that's why I was gonna probably go with it over anything else. Not sure on which brad nailer though. Then part of me wants to just get the M12 18g which comes out later this month since I already have batteries but it only shoots up to 1 1/2

go battery, you thank me .. enough dragging the airline and tank around
I went the opposite way tired of wielding a heavy and big gun especially in tight spaces. Gave up the Dewalt finish and brad nailers for all air tools. Significantly cheaper and less trouble-free tools. No worries about batteries or motors. Whole setup with framing finish, brad and pin nailers along with compressor was about the cost of the Dewalt brad and finish gun.

Have had an earlier generation of this gun when it was still Hitachi, and it has to be chugging along near twenty years now.

You only do one side of the equation. What you say a positive is a negative in many respects.

Don't get me wrong maybe unlimited budget and space I'd have both for the times when you just need a nail or two, but the lightness and nimbleness of the air tools makes them a pleasure versus a struggle.
