If you have spare cash this seems pretty good but a lot of the features are targeted towards performing.

I'm not the right person to be offering advice, but I love this Casio I bought last year to learn on. I am a sucker for the design of it especially -- maybe worth trying for $219 instead

Only downside it is a 61 key digital piano won't get the full range of sound.
