This is a great tape measure IMO at a fantastic price, and is VERY easy to read if you have "old" eyes. Highly recommended.

Even if you missed this deal, if you need a tape, try the G2 instead. Basically it's the G1 with a few minor imperfections in the design fixed. Lowe's carries them.

Seeing this reminded me of a guy, at a storm window factory, who showed us how far off the measurements are between a Stanley and Lufkin. Then I saw a review that shows the Lufkin off 1/16' between the 1' mark and 5''. I knew the two brands were off from one another, but not in the first 5'. That is why you always want to measure and cut, using the same tape measure.

I've got a young guy working with me. So no matter which tape measures I buy..... Matched brand or unmatched.... The measurements will always be off!!
