I am having trouble selling my brand new Google Pixel 8 on Craigslist for $450... Google phones are so crap..
Please never buy them at retail price. No one pays $999 for a Google Pixel Pro.

Looks like trade in values for pixel phones on Google are elevated as well. 220 for a pixel 6a and 320 for pixel 7 for example.

Not sure if $220 for 6a is elevated per se. It's kinda the normal trade in value? It was $220 from mid December to 12/31 when there was the $100/$125/40% off promo going on. Don't remember the value for Pixel 7 but I guess $320 is decent

Yeah I guess you are right - compared to $100 it's elevated. Was hoping it would be elevated vs. the $220 from last December when there was the extra $100/$120/40% off coupon on top of the same promo price. It's a matter of perspective and expectation I guess.

I really hate the fact that Google makes you pay the full price with trade-in value excluded and then refund you after you send in the trade-in. Paying the tax on before trade-in amount sucks, as does waiting on at least 2 weeks from the time of purchase (assuming the phone is available for shipping right away) to get the trade-in refund.
