A few days back they sent a 20% off coupon on full price($999) but the trade in for the pixel 7 provided was $180. Now It is on sale for $799 with P7 trade in value of $320. The marketing team really needs to do some homework before coming up with such meaningful promos!

I am having trouble selling my brand new Google Pixel 8 on Craigslist for $450... Google phones are so crap..
Please never buy them at retail price. No one pays $999 for a Google Pixel Pro.
You should have trouble when new units with trade in are so attractive. These are not junk, but very good phones for the money.

Oneplus 12R looks like a trap phone, there's a reason there's an enticing pre-order offer with no YouTube reviews going on. Probably an embargo going on until they get as many blind buyers to purchase it.
Reviews were released today and they found it to be a very good phone outside of a mediocre wide angle camera and pointless macro camera. Performance often exceeded that of the OP12.

So cheap already? This is definitely a better buy than a base iPhone at this price
This has been the sale price off and on since it was launched, this is at least the 3rd or 4th time it's been this price.

Pretty much all android have bad resale value. I couldn't sell my Z fold 5 for a decent price but Google and One plus have really bad resale or trade in values. I purchased Pixel 8 Pro 256gb with coupon and trade in and after all said and done my final price was like $450 which i believe is a great price and i love the pixel 8 pro. The software on this thing is so clean. Good phone but bad resale.

Why is every single SlickDeal on Google Pixels settings Downvoted. There is literally 0 reason why this is happening.
Bc the modem is junk unfortunately. Went from a pixel 6 to s22 to pixel 7 to pixel 8, just sold the 8 and switched to Galaxy s24. Over 20% faster download speeds on 5G and about 6 hours longer battery life and not nearly as hot as pixel 8 would be if GPS is on....

That and the phones crater in value or resell. Just look at pixel 7's...they can be had for 1/3rd price... About 13 months post launch on eBay, offerup, craigslist

People are selling 8 Pros for $650 brand new on Craigslist, no tax needed. I hope you didn't trade in a good phone for that.

Samsung's resell value is way better, and Samsung also give you better trade in for your old samsung phones.

I looked and I don't see anything under $700. Post a link.

I've been using the pixel 6a for over a year. Love the phone and android os but one huge dealbreaker is the fingerprint sensor. It gets REALLY annoying. Im switching to Samsung on my next upgrade

Face id on the 8 pro (and by extension, I'm pretty sure the 8 too) is so good now that banking apps even accept it. It's insanely fast and works much better than Samsung's. Unless you're in the dark, I feel it's better than my iPhone 13 pro (newer iPhone gens may be better). The fingerprint is a minor improvement over the 7a which was a smidge better than the 7/7pro (which were small improvements themselves over the 6s). I would consider it a non issue now. Samsung's fingerprint sensor is the best in the biz though, with improvements in speed on the s24 series (it was already super accurate). Pick your favorite but I wouldn't make a buying decision based on one or the other. The 8 pro is my favorite current gen flagship.

I'm still using the pixel 6 and finger print sensor works just fine.
