In my experience, they aren't much better than AAA for service. When I'm stranded on the side of the road, I don't really want to wait around for 3-4 hours for service. I'd rather just pay full price for a tow.

Add towing to your auto policy for a few bucks.

This is actually a pretty slick deal..

I already have roadside with AAA but it seems to be all the same stuff..
but by having a second club.. now you have put in calls with 2 different providers..
so if one tow truck company is full of crap takng forever.. another one might
show up sooner.. and th is has unlimited calls so yea..

This is better because sometimes that only covers your car, and these autoclubs will cover any car you're riding in.. and has unlimited tows.
Also some will count roadside as a claim on your record I've heard.. not sure how true that is..

I have 6 vehicles under a Hagerty specialty vehicle policy. $70/year for Driver's Club covers ALL of those vehicles, not just one. A couple of my cars can be a bit temperamental, so I've had to use the towing service 3 times in the last year... zero $$ out of pocket, rollback flatbed service, and offending vehicle delivered to my garage door so I can fix the problem and get it back on the road. Worth every single penny.

Having said that, this is regular price (up from $60/year as of 2022), so calling this a 'Hot Deal' in the traditional SD sense isn't really true.
