Bought from this seller and had the worst ever experience. The excellent device came with a black line on screen. Seller did not let me initiate a return and sent me a shipping label and promised a replacement. Once they received the device back they told me they were out of stock and will initiate a refund. They never initiated a refund and blocked me on eBay. Glad I had saved everything that helped me get the refund with through PayPal's dispute, which took over a month.

Man i scored a open box excellent at bestbuy for $376 after tax and had to return it bc it had a black dot on the middle of the screen. Not sure if i trust these foldables

I don't. Mine broke in a year and I babied it. The protector started to peel in the middle, and Samsung said that was an indicator of a misaligned hinge issue.

It was an incredible device, otherwise.

What type of repair options were you offered? Did you have to pay out of pocket? 🫣 I have similar concerns about durability

Hmm, I have a fold 4 with an inner screen that broke last September and my insurance gave me about 550 to fix it. Due to lack of parts I've been waiting since then to get the inner screen replaced. Tempted to just buy this refurbished fold 4 and see how much I can get selling my current phone with the broken screen.

Yeah the Flip4 has hinge issues. I would not buy a refurbished Flip4 unless you have a good warranty. As I understand it even a light drop if it lands on the hinge can misalign it, which can impact the screen.

Surprising that 4 gens into it and Samsung still couldn't get it right with a foldable phone. Maybe why Apple hasn't tried it yet.

I had the same issue. A couple of weeks after the 1 year warranty expired and Samsung offered to fix it for $100. Not sure if it was a courtesy offer but it did require a new screen because shortly after the screen protector peeled, the whole screen went black in the middle.
