Tiny and flimsy. Pictures are deceiving. But for a dollar, it might be worth to keep one in the car with a few emergency tools.

Seriously, these aren't bad for $1.25. They're not heavy duty, but they have a lot of room in them for $1.25.

It's only worth a dollar. $1.25 too expensive. 😂

No, thats a use case where you want a more durable box.
These are better suited for home use, storing craft supplies, paint brushes, office supplies, etc.

As others said, good for small craft items etc. They don't hold much weight and have flimsy hinges which makes them bad for tools IMO. Decent enough value for a buck plus, but check the dimensions so you know what your getting.

And you get your money's worth for 5 quarters. I owned 8 of these, and 3 of them broke on a single drop to the car from the dollartree. I did end up using them as a cover box for A/C power strips for christmas inflatables by using a soldering a hole into the side. It stopped the rain for pouring on them directly, but it was far from waterproof.

It has been around for ages, long before dollar tree hiked prices to $1.25. Why is this in SD now?

I have one and it won't hold much, however if you only want to store couple of screws and a little screwdriver sure go ahead

Gotta ask, how strong is the adhesive on the stickers on these? I bought a Harbor Freight mini ammo box and and the adhesive on there was incredibly hard to remove (I wanted to do some labelling with the product stickers off and it just wasn't worth the time and effort so I returned several).

Was just sharing because it's cheap storage and I happened to pick up a few at The Dollar Tree the other day when they restocked. I like what some people did in the reviews. They gave them out as gifts to customers. Not a bad idea, especially if you slap your own logo on them.

It's decent for he price. Hinges are weak, so use a carabiner to keep the lid secure when stored for heavier items.
