Costco has it for $170. For some reason it doesnt show on costco's website if you look at all headphones, but it does on my android app but if you search on the website for 'Bose' it shows up. Kinda weird.
I bought this at Xmas for $229, so it dropped a lot. There is a new version that is now the same price as Xmas time. Don't know whats the difference. Just to make sure, my item # from Xmas that cost $229 match the $170 one. The only reason why I was searching for another one is, after only 2 months the left side of the headphone has a constant white noise/hissing sound. I did some googling and found tons of complaints on this exact same issue on the same side. I am going to order the newer one and and return mine back to costco, Maybe the new one fixed that issue?
Just be aware of this issue. You can google it. There were technotes from Bose to try and fix the issue, none of it worked.

It wasn't earlier before I posted it. It let me add it to cart and go all the way to the checkout. I deleted it and bought the higher price one instead. Now it shows OOS.

IIRC, the Costco SE version of the Bose QuietComfort 45 is the same as the non-SE version, except that the SE version includes a soft case and the non-SE version includes a hard shell case. The headphones themselves are the same. I do not own either of these to verify.
