    • RTINGS gives the QN90C a score of 8.3 and QN85C a score of 8.1 (both for mixed usage).
    • RTINGS' comparison of these 2 models:
      • "The Samsung QN90C/QN90CD QLED is better than the Samsung QN85C QLED, but not by as much as you'd think. The QN90C gets much brighter than the QN85C in both SDR and HDR, but in practice, this isn't always noticeable, as most content just isn't mastered to take advantage of such high brightness levels. The QN90C's Automatic Brightness Limiter (ABL) also more aggressively dims the scene when it gets extremely bright, to a point where the two TVs are equally as bright in the brightest of scenes. The QN90C has better color volume and reflection handling than the QN85C."

Ok I was able to snag an epp account and a referral code and was able to get the QN90C 85 inch for $1,750.35 total with 2 years Samsung + Care. It took a little patience to get the customer service rep to give me coupon codes for a discount and Samsung care+. The referal code(5%) I received from Samsung on my EDU account.

I have bought a watch and tablet from Samsung.com. Each time, I ask the chat person for a coupon code. Both times they gave it to me without a problem. When I was asking about a TV, the chat person would not give me a code, only a link to check out. I did not but my TV that way or from Samsung.com. I got my QN90C 85" from Best-Buy, open box, excellent condition for $1,900. The TV was still boxed, with everything in it and TV barely used.

I left the chat because I was getting annoyed because I was specifically asking for coupon codes and not a link. I came back after a few minutes and they acquiesced. Then I was able to apply the care + code, the 10% off code and the referral code for another 5% off. $1750 shipped all and all. That is a solid deal for the QN90C85. This was from an EPP account I acquired from from someone in the 83 Samsung OLED sub for peanuts. They also provide you with the 5% referral code.

Just bought mine QN90C 85 Inch to replace a perfectly working Samsung 65 4K 3D TV (2015). Got the Coupon for $240 off plus my EPP Discount, and the TV came out to $1870 delivered. Really good deal for sure.

You can also ask for a code in chat that will give you Samsung Care+ 2 years for free, normally $199. And then take advantage of 24 month financing. When asked, just say that you are ready to purchase the TV then and now. I put the code in and Samsung Care+ 2 years went to $0.

Seeing the 85" QN90C for $2,159.99 now with edu discount, last night it was showing as $2400. Still not low enough, maybe I'll have to bother with CS.

I had the rep set to take 10% off the qn85 75" around 2, he had an issue with the cart, then said the 10% code had "expired", confirmed by multiple reps later that was the case. Not sure if I should bite or wait for code to come back.

Are people still able to get 10% off from chat? I got one yesterday after some reluctance. Rep created a cart link and I noticed the 10% was applied as a code which I jotted down but didn't checkout. Fast forward a day later the code no longer works but the warranty code still does. Just wondering if I'll be able to grab another from chat
