How is this a deal? The 7 Pro was literally about half this amount through Mint right before Christmas and that included a year of wireless service.
This is OEM (boot loader) unlocked, which brings into play Graphene, Calyx, etc.

Another decision to make. I love hate you SD. My 4a5g 100% sufficiently serves my demands. I have no purpose to these later phones.

Someone convince me to the 7a other than it's "newer". I'm pretty frugal and can careless of the latest and greatest.

For security updates? It appears those and Android version updates ended for the 4a5G last November.

that went out of stock very quickly - so not a deal if you couldn't replicate.

I recently got a 7a for $350 from Target... I'm not necessarily interested in 8 or 8p, since 7a is my secondary phone (primary is a 14 Pro Max); but I'd love it if the price drops further until the end of my return date (March 3rd). Do "a" series Pixel phones drop significantly in price once the next version (i.e., 8a) is released?
Curious to know whether your Target purchase was basically $374 minus the Red Card discount or $350 base price with an additional Red Card discount?

Yes it was very difficult to get that one. Not a deal I would compare with any other.

Mehhh only $120 trade-in for Pixel 6 256gb.
They're giving $260 for a pixel 6 256gb when you buy a pixel 8. Imo pixel 8 is better due to the 7 year android updates... Close to IOS historical updates

Keep in mind that the starting point price will be $550 or more on the 8A and the 7A at $375 -200 for a trade in is almost impossible to improve upon.
I think the best 6a trade-in deal will be for 9a which will drop just before 6a runs out of Android updates ; although this 7a deal is not bad.

7a is fat and 6a just feels better in hand. Not worth the trade in.

I've had a 2XL with no issues and recently bought a 6a from Total Wireless for $100. It just unlocked last week, so was planning to start using it soon. I wonder if trading this in new for the 7a is worth it, or ride with the 6a for a couple years.

6a has horrible battery life and the signal is crap...

If you only have 100 invested in it, I would consider trading it in. I am running a 6A right now and I paid $200 for it a year ago used. It has been pretty good, but the 7A is on my radar with this deal.

FYI, Pixel 5a 128Gb is $170 trade in value.

I bit the bullet on a 7a. I like the longer updates with 8 but not sure I'd keep the phone that long.
2-3 years seems to be my average assuming the battery holds out.

6a to 7a is worthless "upgrade".
