Fine quality for $6, but this belt started falling apart after a few months of wearing it to an office 1-2x a week. The brown has flaked off in chunks and the buckle is already very loose. Others may have a better experience.

Belts are easily the worst clothing item to buy.

Ratchets are probably the least worst, but they are a little trashy and can still split along the edge. Braided are solid but don't work for all looks. Real leather ones are good but expensive.

Reversible belts=crap, buckle will snap at the twisting mechanism

Bonded leather =Flaking crap, 90% of belts out there

Cut it to your size. Well… maybe a few inches past, just in case you get fat 😁

I bought this and returned. If you have a waist size of 38+ it should fit.
It is a trim to fit belt. Most belts are like that. It has instruction on how to do that.

My bad. I didn't see that.

Do you have a good recommendation? Been wanting to try one.
Mission belts makes good ones. Can get Italian leather which is higher quality. They are comfortable

I bought one of these and had to return it, the teeth holding the buckle to the belt just didn't hold the belt after a few weeks of casual use.
It was really disappointing, I walked into Nordstrom rack and bought one for cheap there after. Oh well

Stilling wearing a Kirkland Signature belt 2-3 times per week bought 6 years ago. No cracks, flaking or deformation. Not sure if Costco still sells these.

I loathe reversible belts. It sounds good in theory. Get 2 colors for price of 1 belt. But the mechanism doesn't lock. So when you move, it'll stretch with you. I don't care how sturdy it is. Why can't they just make solid traditional belts of varying lengths? Is that too much to ask?

Bought this last time it was on sale in store. Easily the cheapest belt I own. Not a good belt, but if you only need a belt, this will work.

I've had a good experience with this belt so far. It's held up well after several months. The cut to fit was very simple. I'm actually wearing it as I type LOL

I wonder if they changed the manufacturing on these. Timberland is a great brand, and I have two of their belts from 4 years ago that are still holding up really well after using 2-3 times a week. Maybe they're using bonded leather now instead of real leather?
Exactly. I have a couple from several years back - one I wear almost daily - and it still looks 95% brand new.

The last few (Timberland) I have bought like this, while still looking pretty good, have some cracks and are warped/bent (if you want to call it that) and show noticeable wear after just limited use over the last 1-2 years.

Can't beat the price though still for these, even if longevity isn't in the cards any longer.

*Cheap belts (bonded)

Best belts are solid leather or braided leather. You'll pay $25+, but they'll last decades or more.

these seem to be full grain, so some of the comments surprise me.

I bought my first full-grain leather belt (Orion, now defunct) many many years ago and would never go back to this genuine/bonded leather crap.

Buy a full-grain leather belt with a solid buckle on Etsy or elsewhere for X3-X5 the price instead and get years, if not decades of use out of your belt.

Edit: Realized description says this one is full grain. But I still suggest something with a more solid hardware. I imagine the reversible buckle mechanism will be the first to go on this one even if this is indeed full grai.
