Fine quality for $6, but this belt started falling apart after a few months of wearing it to an office 1-2x a week. The brown has flaked off in chunks and the buckle is already very loose. Others may have a better experience.

Belts are easily the worst clothing item to buy.

Ratchets are probably the least worst, but they are a little trashy and can still split along the edge. Braided are solid but don't work for all looks. Real leather ones are good but expensive.

Reversible belts=crap, buckle will snap at the twisting mechanism

Bonded leather =Flaking crap, 90% of belts out there

Cut it to your size. Well… maybe a few inches past, just in case you get fat 😁

I bought one of these. It lasted 2 years before breaking at the pivot. I also have 2 Kirkland brand belts, black and brown, that I bought many years ago. Still in excellent shape, and I use daily. I've not seen in Costco for a while. They need to bring them back.

Have this don't recommend it the swiveling 360 degree swivel buckle scratches the leather as you slide it through on both sides. Don't waste your money. Return mine to Costco's

This is a terrible belt. Please don't buy. It's like they've painted it or something.. it starts to look terrible at the contact points like where the buckle touches it.

poor quality belt. Save your money and buy something with a better quality.

this thing scratches like crazy...... even my $10 levi belt from TJMaxx is better in quality than this. Can't believe Costco carries poor quality item in-store and online.

Folks who saw this for $6 in store speaks for itself why Costco offered a deep discount.

The swivel broke after a few months. Just snapped as I was trying to put the belt on. Buy a fixed / regular belt

I'll second everyone else regarding the Kirkland belts. I have two (brown, black) that I wear all the time and for years. Only issue is that they developed a slight curve, but otherwise still great after all these years.

Just my 2 cents here but I only buy belts that have 2 prong on the buckle. I find that single prong always wear out the hole I'm using in a month or two but with 2 prong they last many months and even a year or more.
I will say though that I have a ratchet belt also and like it. Though I seem to recall once I almost pissed my pants because I couldn't quickly get the ratchet loose to take my pants down.

Here's a suggestion for you. Not quite a "ratchet" belt, very similar. Lifetime warranty/made in the USA.

I bought my first full-grain leather belt (Orion, now defunct) many many years ago and would never go back to this genuine/bonded leather crap.

Buy a full-grain leather belt with a solid buckle on Etsy or elsewhere for X3-X5 the price instead and get years, if not decades of use out of your belt.

Edit: Realized description says this one is full grain. But I still suggest something with a more solid hardware. I imagine the reversible buckle mechanism will be the first to go on this one even if this is indeed full grai.
I bought myself a fancy Hugo Boss Italian leather belt from a Boss outlet store. While the belt looks to be of high quality the leather is already splitting in places even after just a couple of month of wear. I never had a belt with the leather split like this. I usually try to avoid anything with a reversible buckle. Even with premium designer brands like Ted Baker for whatever reason to choose to make leather belts with reversible buckles. People will complain about the buckle keeps popping off. That is always the first thing to go.
