So it requires a spectrum mobile and internet plan? Your repost of the T&C answered nothing about the title.

It's been confirmed by multiple people already that the S24 phones are all locked for 60 days. The reps can't unlock it even if they tried.

Please stop lying and giving people false hope.

They can blacklist you from store purchases, in happened in the S23 thread when people did to many buys/trades. Corporate does the blacklist, not the local store.
The Rep will try to process your order and it won't go through.
It didn't seem to blacklist from online purchases though.
That was my 2nd upgrade. Lol

I got the moto razr+ over phone with spectrum customer service manager and he had put me on monthly credits and said that as soon as i trade in the device and approved by assurant, it will pay off the device in full and the device can be unlocked. Is it ok or any red flags and i need to call them back and ask them to change it ?

Is your current phone paid off?
If so, you can do line upgrade to this phone, I would go into store and talk with rep. and see if they will accept your current phone as trade-in.
Just make sure they do it as one time charge, paid in full, not 36 easy payments.
Do you have web account setup? You can see if your eligible for line upgrade there.

If they won't take your phone, look in the Wiki at the front of this posting, Walmart has a phone fYor $40 that works for trade-in, just read the warning posted also.
Yes my phone is paid for but too old. I just got an Iphone 6 from a friend that I am going to trade in though. Thanks

Completed my trade in locally but noticed my receipt says monthly credit for 36 months. Is this correct? Shouldn't it show paid off? Those whom got this to work, can you share your receipt? Thanks in advance.

I'm switching from xfinity and am curious if this and the Samsung trade in along with the $15 / line offer is worthwhile. i had a few questions before i headed into the store for negotiations. I have 2 lines with xfinity to port over and 4 phones total. i have 2 iphones (13promax &13) that i dont want to trade in (no promo) a s21U and several older motos i can use for trade in. I do not want any monthly credits. The are offering $15/ a line for two lines, the razor offer and the samsung offer atm. Ill probably switch the 2 lines for service but was wondering about adding additional lines to take advantage of the trade in offers and then possibly close the lines later.
-With the $15/ a line for 2 lines offer am i able to get 4 lines for $60?
-Can i trade in for a razor (or samsung), pay it off, use it on a $15 line for a few months then close the line. Or do i have to keep the line open for 24 months?
-Would i be able to open 4 lines, utilize 2 trade ins (paid off), close the lines for the trade ins and keep 2 lines for my ported in iphone numbers? (ie trade in w/o paying for a lien for a year)

I can start with you can only do the 2 for $30 promo once at a given time.

On second and third questions, yes. Though cheapest service is 20 bucks a month. Just go in with your paid off phones and say you want four new lines of service, two ported in numbers and two new numbers, and pay em off in full and trade in on same day at the store. My total for one line and a trade in worth 11 bucks in TX was 136 or something out the door. Then after 60 days or so, call in to get them all unlocked and then cancel the lines you don't want to keep. That is, if I understand your situation correctly

What about sales tax? When I try to check out online, it applies sales tax for the full retail price of phone
I'm in Florida. No sales tax was assessed. I think going into the store helped as well, though that may not be correlated. As @redRanger said, it may depend on which state you live in.

What Moto budget phone did you use?
Some random Moto G Play some dude was selling on Craigslist. Actually, I met him across the street from the Spectrum store. Any trade in phone will do--just make sure you can find it in the online Spectrum trade in system first so you can confirm the value quote. Old iPhones are another safe bet. Saw plenty of iPhone 6 in my local seller marketplaces that would've worked equally well.

Tax is based on state.

You can trade in any phone in some stores. Someone traded in a Xiaomi phone even though it's not even listed in Spectrum.
