I have a stainless steel frying pan from them. It's good not great. Great shape, size and all but it did warp a bit.
They have an "F" rating at the BBB and a bunch of complaints that have not been closed. I think I will pass on this company.

Brandless. (TM) Trademarked.

It amuses me that they trademarked their brandless brand.

looks like a rebrand of these https://www.tramontina.com/8-in-t...16004.html

Tramontina is 3 ply, from your own link. This set says it's 5 ply.

FYI - d5 All-Clad is alternating layers of stainless and aluminum, the outer two SS are for ease of cleanup and durability, and the inner SS to eliminate hotspots. The two Al layers are for quick heating. This product has the same two SS layers on the outside, but all three inner layers are Al. I don't even know how that makes sense, it would literally be better to use one single thicker layer of Al, therefore this is all just smoke and mirrors.
Yeah this construction pattern is BS marketing that makes absolutely no sense as trying to bond 3 layers of aluminum will result in worse thermal conduction than a single solid layer of aluminum due to all the microscopic voids between each of the layers. That is just basic science knowledge. It is really slightly worse heat dissipation than a "normal" 3-ply pan. Everything about this post, brand, and construction technique is questionable, and I wouldn't give them a penny of my money. If you want a good cheap 3-ply pan set just get Cuisinart MulticladPro pans which are 3-ply. Those have a great track record and that's why I use them. They work 95% as well as AllClad but cost 80% less, the handles are much more comfortable, and they haven't warped in almost 10yrs of using them daily including searing steaks at really high temps. I returned my $1500 AllClad pan set after using them for 29 days when I saw this $299 MulticladPro pan set were basically identical in performance.

Likely cheaper to machine three thinner layers of aluminum. Otherwise yeah it is worse than a single thick aluminum layer.
Nah it's definitely more expensive to machine multiple layers. Just imagine the additional machinery and tooling you need to stack 3 thin layers of aluminum and bond them vs. just cutting out a single thicker plate.

The main reason why they're doing this is so that they can legally advertise their pans as "5 ply" to make them seem competitive against more expensive, name brand products like All Clad d5 or Demeyere Industry which actually have a true 5-ply construction.

Could just mean that they refuse to pay BBB's fee
