Link for reference only! Actually deal is a Home Depot in-store find. I found a stack of these in the end-cap over near the grilling/electrical supplies for $10.03 and it included an orange silicon handle cover. That's basically half price for a brand name cast iron pan...huge win!

These aren't made by Lodge, which cast iron fanatics often prefer.

I want to say yes it's a better deal but with the Lodge brand, you are getting something that is a known quantity and quality, and limited lifetime warranty. You never know the quality that you are getting from an unknown brand...if you are just melting lead in it, sure go for it lol. If you want to keep it for several years and have it last, maybe just go with the Lodge if you can find it. It's a great deal for a Lodge...maybe not a great deal for a random pan...but for a cast iron Lodge...it's fantastic. You'd be hard pressed to find a used one for this price.

That is about regular price for the pan without the silicone handle. Silicone handle is nice to have though
