The amateur is the one telling everybody that an organization that went under is credible. You were clearly just talking out of your behind. Visit pwma.org [pwma.org] for more information. Oh wait, it's a dead link....
Take electricity for example, we have no way of knowing what the voltage was at the outlet or extension cord that he plugged the machine into. In America, this varies enough due to grid loads, distance from transformers, bad connections, poor wiring, and long runs to easily account for the supposed difference in machine performance.

B. If he had issues with the advertised PSI, then most likely many others will as well.
C. Their claim is that these will outperform gas, but the PWMA certification is useless if it will under perform using electricity.
4, The guy appeared to give it an honest test and even went on to say it was a good pressure washer. However, it doesn't change that the device didn't work as advertised.
5. If an "amateur" lawn and garden guy couldn't achieve the desired results, then how does that translate to consumers who have even less experience with power washers?
The issue isnt whether or not the power washer is good or bad. It's that the PWMA thing is a marketing hoax. There doesn't appear to be a PWMA anymore and there are next tests by consumers that verify any of their claim. Also, the poducts with this seal you are vouching for are limited to brands affiliated with Greenworks (Globe Technologies).

There are many brands that use PWMA certification. Greenworks/Powerworks, Ryobi, Briggs&Stratton, Hart, Kobalt, to name a few.
Other brands, like those under the Stanley Black&Decker umbrella, use a similar CETA certification.

As far as your comment about voltage, here's the thing. They're trying to promote these products as "better than gas" pressure washers. If the results are inconsistent, then that is not favorable towards being better than a gas power washer, since the power source is always going to be changing on the electric and not the gas powered.. That means if I were to run a power washing business, every time I plug this into a different outlet, it's going to cause the power to vary up to 10 percent, and maybe even more. The gas I could take place to place, and the power source is going to be the same until my containers run out of gas, and even then there's a good chance I'll get the same performance when I fill up again.
And nobody in their right mind is claiming that this pressure washer performs better than gas.
