I'm pretty sure buying used NES/SNES/ARCADE games doesn't give a dime to the devs. I'll happily buy games that have been re-made or even re-released. if they aren't available for purchase, I'm sailing the 7 seas.

Killer deal. I bought this for Christmas and have been playing it quite a bit. Battery life is surprisingly good, and I'm able to play games up-to (and including) Dreamcast/ps1 with full speed. For example: NBA Showtime (NBA in NBC) runs really well on this device on dreamcast - as does NFL Blitz dreamcast

A lot of these handheld retro devices have mini-HDMI ports (this one doesn't') so you can just plug them straight into a TV and use a bluetooth controller (this one doesn't have bluetooth).

You need to pay more for something with wifi/bluetooth/mini-hdmi. Check out devices by Anbernic and Retroid.

Lol zero of the of the talented devs that made these old games exist anymore. Even if they do, it's in name only. The originators moved on. These are great to preserve the history of what the medium used to be, similar to the downfall of every other medium we are witnessing right now.

R36s is more powerful, rg35xx has custom firmware that can play alittle DC and psp but it's still being developed. R36s runs on a more matured custom firmware and able to play more dc/psp. The difference is the built quality, rg35xx has better plastic and buttons. So better quality vs better performance.

It does say Nintendo games, one of the reviews shows Mario. Are those true original games or something dev modified from the older Mario games? Just wondering. My kids are into Mario wonder and I wanted to show them what us oldies used to play with. Also, any list of Mario games this device might have? TIA
