Who are you supporting when none of these games are for sale anymore?

I'm pretty sure buying used NES/SNES/ARCADE games doesn't give a dime to the devs. I'll happily buy games that have been re-made or even re-released. if they aren't available for purchase, I'm sailing the 7 seas.

Killer deal. I bought this for Christmas and have been playing it quite a bit. Battery life is surprisingly good, and I'm able to play games up-to (and including) Dreamcast/ps1 with full speed. For example: NBA Showtime (NBA in NBC) runs really well on this device on dreamcast - as does NFL Blitz dreamcast

I'm pretty impressed for $30. Loaded with games and the ones that I wanted to play are all playing perfectly. Great screen for the money!

Anyone know how to save your game? Just got it and it's cool!
The manual is under the plastic piece and it has all the shortcuts you need

It comes with ~64GB of games. It uses two microsd cards - one for the OS and another just for roms. You'll likely want to replace the cards that come with it as I've heard they're prone to failing
Mine showed up. No games. No sd cards. Anybody want to clone them?

The TF slot on the right side of the unit should have a white round sticker over the slot which has the 64gb OS SD card. Was yours delivered without a sticker and an empty slot??

You should have an SD card in the right side of the device that has the OS - is that not the case? I actually followed this guide to image a different firmware vs what was included at ship: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGxKTb93hw0

Hard to complain for the price, but it's not as good as the RG35XX Plus.

This can't even run n64 games properly... The graphic colors are absolute crap.

It's been some time since I set up an R36S for one of my nieces (so I don't have one/it on hand atm), but if you haven't already, try this:
  1. Launch any N64 game
  2. While in-game, get into the RetroArch menu (I forget what the Hotkey was on the R36S)
  3. In RetroArch, check for (and enter, if available) 'Options' or 'Core Options' under the Quick Menu section.
  4. Under the Options/Core Options menu, scroll down and look for an entry labeled 'GFX Plugin'.
  5. *If* GFX Plugin is there and is not already set to Rice, set it to Rice.
  6. Get back to the Main Menu of RetroArch, then go down to Main Menu -> Configuration File and click Save Current Configuration.
  7. Exit the game altogether using Quit (in RetroArch, also found under Main Menu)
  8. Try out a few N64 games that you tested before this chance and see if you notice any difference in performance. This may not make them playable, but it's definitely worth trying.

If you want to run N64 then the RG35xx + isn't the device either. Both will play some games, not all. They are very similar performance wise.

Yeah, the default core settings that the R36S comes with is crap - makes Mario 64 look super messed up. The correct settings makes it look better now.

But I found out there's an actual Mario 64 PORTED version that is far superior than emulating the game making it run buttery smooth at 60 FPS. It's amazing.

It's night and day difference. The ported version is amazing... the only negative is there is no save states (just regular saving in the game itself) - but the buttery smooth 60 fps is incredible... it puts all the emulation to shame.

And what's even more amazing is there's also Half-Life port and this little device can run that smoothly too! I never would have imagined a tiny thing like this could run Half-Life! and it's super playable.

There's also GTA III and Vice City ports as well.

To do this, you have to use something called PortMaster and provide the game data files yourself.

I'd 100% play Half-Life on a 3.5" screen - simply because it's possible LMAO
I'm going to have to get on checking these out. Between Ports and Moonlight streaming, there are features I still have yet to try on these types of handhelds. Thanks again!
