Was looking for something with surge protection with outlets and usb for kids nightstand. Any other recommendations?
Don't think the firmware for the little 8-bit processor in it that handles the USB PD protocol is very robust. The 60W Insignia I'd been using doesn't have this problem nor does the 100W Anker 2 x USB C + 2 USB A from the Amazon deal before Christmas have this problem.
Best to pass on Baseus for chargers like this, though I will not that their lower power car chargers I've gotten have been fine. Of course, they don't get used to power a laptop PC.
