just my 2 cents, but i think a cold pack is a really good item. you can get one in similar kits for just a couple more bucks.

I got this last time, then augmented it with a few more items. My last new car didn't have a first aid kit, so threw this in the trunk. Good for what it is.

Only downside is there are tons of little bandages, hand wipes, and such. Probably to bump up the piece count to an 80-Piece first aid kit. I'd rather have a 40-Piece first aid kit with 40 good pieces, than a kit with a bunch of filler pieces.

FIrst time I've see Subscribe & Save REQUIRE I take delivery of it immediately and only offer the 5% discount, it will arrive tomorrow. the 15% discount is not available until a second delivery. I cannot just add it to my stock of items coming next month for 15% - I must take first delivery immediately.. - wtf?

What you described is listed on public facing Amazon site. When I logged in and added it to my cart/normal S&S items, it took the 15% off and is being delivered w my other S&S items on the normal date

Yikes! I've never seen that before. Let's hope that's not a sign of things to come. I'm seeing the standard S&S delivery with the option to change.

Edit: Yeah, like Clu said above, let's hope you were simply not logged in.

Decent all around kit to have at a place where you might not have anything.

Came in handy once already when i was at my camp and had a nasty little cut from a splitting wedge shard.

Subscribe & Save!? Unless you work in the school nurse's office, why would the average person need regularly scheduled deliveries of this item?

For what its worth, unless you got the other deal on Neosporin, just a 0.5oz Neosporin is pushin 4 or 5 bucks, so this adds a few other items for very little more, especially if you can get the 15% subscribe and save.

I've gotten so many items on "subscribe & save", just to go back and cancel the subscription - some of them make no sense to get repeatedly, others I've just not used or switched to something else. Does Amazon ever push back on cancelling so many?

I think it's fine, Amazon knows some customers are smarter shoppers than others Smilie They could change their rules if they wanted to.

I was logged in, but hadn't realized I was still switched to my wife's account - who has never had any S&S set up previously. Switching back to my account has it working normally... Problem solved Smilie
