REI members should have a $40 off of $200 coupon. I believe mine came attached to an REI mailing a week or two ago. I doubt that was a targeted mailing so I expect all members have it. Despite that, it is a single use code. Good luck to all. I already own this knife and like it a lot. It's very light. Great for clippings to very lightweight shorts during the hot summer months.

I have this and it's been my daily driver for about a year now. The most enjoyable (lightweight) knife to carry and is wicked sharp. Retains an edge extremely well. I can't recommend it enough, I end up comparing it to all others as my gold standard for what EDC should be.

Interesting. I've been an REI member since about the mid-nineties but haven't received a mailer in a LOOOONG time. Despite shopping at my flagship store at least annually.

I have the carbon fiber big brother to this one in full size (the 535-3), and the exact mini bugout you referenced (533-4 regular orange grivory scales and s30v steel). Love both of them as EDC.

Difference between the one from this post and the one you linked (that I own) - this one has really nice carbon fiber scales and s90v steel (versus 'grivory' aka plastic scales and s30v blade for the orange one). The orange one is cool and I don't worry about it as much. But the carbon fiber one is sexxxy.

I don't know what the exchange price is for the orange 533-4 (you can periodically find them on sale for ~$110), but if you could get this 533-3 for ~$160 (the OP price less the YMMV $40 off $200 member coupon), I'd take this one instead.
