i really like my sonos system and have an old playbar with some play 3 surrounds and a gen 3 sub . thinking of upgrading and getting that second sub. how do the the play 3's compare to the eras.

I have q990b and the system is worth for watching 4k Dolby atmos movies. It isn't great for music though.

Arc $720 + Sub $640 + Eras $470 = $1830 + tax
This deal is $1500 + tax. So a $330 difference
And no the coupons (apple/SXM) and bonus wall mount voucher ($79) are nice but do not reduce the purchase price.
For me personally I prefer Costco and willing to pay more.
You just need to get the Arc, play 3's are fine for the rear and imo don't need a 2nd sub (unless you like to rattle your house every time you watch tv!)

But say 2-3 years after the purchase and no warranty something goes wrong.
Imagine having to mail Arc to Sonos for repair, big headache. With Costco just return/exchange at your local store (does not fall under 90 day electronic return).
