I need a stability shoe, and these are the best shoes I've ever used. I was a loooong time Kayano wearer, who dabbled in the Brooks Adrenaline. No comparison, these are amazing for me. I've had like 10 pairs of Arahis… all fantastic. I never hear the end of it from my wife though.

Any consensus on how these perform?

Heads up, won't let you add to cart unless you add a $30 yearly REI membership to the cart as well.

There are some Hokas with a cushiony sole that are good for the feet and good for walking/running. But some are just stacked with foam and don't provide any better cushion than a block of foam under the feet. Good if you want to gain a inch in height though.

These are stability shoes so not as soft as many hokas. If you need the stability they are good but I only use them at the gym or a lifestyle shoe as I don't need the stability when running.

I have an REI account, logged in, but after adding two pairs of $xx.73 outlet shoes, the online order does not give me the 25% off mentioned in the post, any suggestions?

Never mind, my price ends in .83, not .73, guess that doesn't count.

I went back in to REI, ordered through Outlet as a member, and now got extra discounted price of $78.91 each. Going through the posted link did not give that to me. Great deal, thx Navy Wife!

Great stability shoe. If you want the very cushiony Hoka, that would be the Clifton. This is much firmer.

I use saucony guides for running and not really looking to swap but am considering these for walking. Any thoughts on using for that purpose?
