I've had this bag in 40L for a few years to use as a carry-on. I paid about $140 as part of a travel pack and it was well worth it. For $20 more, if you need a bit more size, 40L is the largest that will still fit in an overhead.

Very good quality materials, zippers, and lots of pockets. Has lasted about 85 flights thus far and will easily last that many more.

Excellent find OP. This is a very well reviewed bag and is Wirecutter's choice for a business travel carry-on backpack.

I have been using this bag (in the Desert Palm / Pond Blue colorway) for about 3 months and overall I'm a big fan. It's not perfect, but it's thoughtfully designed, has easy access to devices, papers, etc... and is not excessively heavy on its own.

I travel with it frequently between NYC and London. My biggest complaint is that it's hard to get it to slip over the handle of my roll-a-board suitcase. But that's also because my roll-a-board tends to roll away while I'm trying to slide the Topo on top.

I paid $129 on a pre-BF sale and I was pleased with that price, but at $59 (even $69 if you need shipping) this is a steal.

Yes, it does fit. I just tried it and it wasn't really difficult to get my 2019 MBP 16" in and out of the back pocket. The difficulty, to the extent it exists it all, is that the zipper opening to get to the padded laptop area isn't full length of the bag, so it requires a bit of a twist of the MBP to slide in, but it's not difficult at all.

I now travel with a 14" MBP, which fits quite easily, as you might suspect. A lot easier to sit on my lap on a flight too, which I appreciate!

It also always fits under the seat, though sometimes it's a tight squeeze and I wouldn't recommend it unless you have to. In my opinion, a comfortable size for a fully packed under the seat bag is ~22L max.
