If it's 180,just get it. Test them out, the 310 is different, more power than essential for sure, thinking even two of them
The 710 however is significantly louder than the 310 they must have mismeasured it in a significant way. And looking at the spec sheets it's a 240w vs 800w system which supports that observation, running around my driveway ( maybe 70 yards away from speaker ) it was night and day difference the 710 on 75% was easily louder than the 310 at 100%.
Just sharing with everyone here if they were debating between those two.
on sale at the Verizon store for $199, regular $349. Was just there for a new SIM card today. The CS showed me on his tablet. Sounds excellent plus karaoke and lighting.

310 is bigger and heavier, so it got 2 wheels with handle to pull. 110 got no wheel, so you have to carry it.
310 battery last 18 hours. 110 battery last 12 hours
310 have external BASS, TREBLE, AND ECHO controllers. 110 have only BASS.
Specification states both have the same frequency range 45Hz - 20KHz (-6dB). But I listen on youtube test sound. I heard 310 sound more nature and balance than 110. Partybox 710 is too much bass.

The JBL Partybox Stage 320 will be $599. The newer 320 will have an accessible removable battery for easy swap to keep the party going when out and about and nowhere to plug in. Also the 320 will have AI Sound Boost which analyzes audio in real time with an AI algorithm to optimize the acoustic output level. 320 will be released in April. 310 sounds awesome and at 379, it was a no brainer for me, I'll just bring my small generator out if I need to keep the party going while out and about.
One way to get people to sign up accounts.

If you want a solid small portable, I'd keep one of the encores and grab a 310. Because the 310 is not something you'll just casually toss in the back seat heading to the park or whatever. Completely different product. If mics are in the mix whatever you buy will work with both.
My .20 but stereo isn't that big of a deal for how these things are used, which is background music, not critical listening. It's nice but a 310 has enough brute force you toss it in the background or corner somewhere and it'll fill any normal sized room just fine.
