Figured i'd share some info i found while researching whether to buy this or Most Wanted (remake). Apparently, Rivals is the opposite of Most Wanted in many ways.
Rivals has tons of good single-player content, the most ruthless cops in the series, and is very action-centric. The latter is what actually led NFS fans who expected this to be a standard racing game to dislike it and begin to call it 'Battlefield with cars'.
Most Wanted meanwhile is the opposite with a lackluster single player, barely any cops (or at the least lazy AI for the cops), and an overall feel that it's more heavily online-focused with the content.
Rivals apparently also has a prevalent issue with crashing and stability since it runs on an engine that is not designed for racing games.

Thanks for posting this, I'll probably get this Steam version, but it's also on sale for $1.49 on the EA windows app for others that may be interested.

Standard edition is $1.49 at EA. Complete edition is same price as Steam.
