I got this and the gel beads leak out of the front when priming it.

I also got this one clearanced out at target for $10. It's harder to shoot because it primes it while you pull the trigger and the hopper situation isn't great, but the reliability is better:

It's hard to be accurate with it. Get the Bug-A-Salt gun. It's more expensive but works really well and only uses plain table salt.

We got a couple for me and my son to play with in the summer! However my son (9 yrs old at the time) had a hard time pulling the trigger back, so after I beat him in three rounds targeting him around the yard (JK folks!), I decided I should get the more automated ones. The automated ones made it a more fair fight! LOL.

Seriously: These are still high velocity, so I would make sure that we always have on eye gear, even if we were not aiming at each other and just targeting cans and action figures.
