Just buy V11 vacuum on eBay without any attachments then buy a stick separately and also get v15 Laser head separately which compatible with V11. My total for everything was $230. Laser head feature is a game changer. V11 vacuum was $110 and v15 head was $90. Amazing value
Which one has a trigger lock? A relative has the V8, and I got a cramp from holding that trigger.
The Dyson V12 detect slim has a push button, no trigger. It does have a smaller waste container, but the button makes up for that. It's also very light and maneuverable and came with the laser head. I love mine.

Been trying, but I have all this particulate matter accumulating in difficult to reach areas of my floor. Any suggestions for a device that could help?
I used to live Dyson, have multiple purifiers and vacuums by then but to be honest...they are not that great. The battery life on the vacuum is useless and having to hold a button down to use is one of the most infuriating design choices

I have a V6 and a V11. I actually prefer the V6. V11 has a larger dust container, longer battery life, and probably just a bit more power, but I can zoom around my house faster with the smaller one, plus easier to empty.
As a Dyson owner, my suggestion would be to go with one of the less expensive Dyson stick vacuums, and just buy one or two extra batteries so you can increase your run time if you need it. I think I paid about 20 bucks for an extra "third party" battery for my V6. Also grab some extra filters, and you can pretty much eliminate downtime.
I get error that coupon cannot be applied to the V11 Open Box

Bought the v11. The discount coupon does not work for the open box but based on the pricing I felt this was the best deal for me. 300 after tax but my wife and I really need something to take care of pet hair and human hair from the floors because it flys everywhere and it is my hope that the self-cleaning hair free roller/beater bar lives up to advertisement
As stated in the original post, the 20% code doesn't work on the new (open box) V11. The moderators didn't make that clear when they made this frontpage.

Do you find the V6 just as strong as the v11? That's mainly why I'm buying a "newer" version for the strength. Otherwise, I agree with your approach of just buying backup batteries. Do you get them on Amazon/eBay or directly from Dyson?

DELETED, oops, realized my old Dyson wasn't the V6...
After some comparisons (r.ting.com) we ended up with the Samsung jet 75+ (2 battery model) and it's better than the v11 for a little under the cost
Just my 2c!

How much did you end up paying for the 75+ I've heard with coupons + sale it can be a pretty good deal.
