I like that one but others prefer the fake leather cooling gel one. You lose some anc effectiveness but it's moot if you're listening to music.
Cooling gel fake leather? There is always something new to learn. Thanks, will try that one if Anker wont work for me and I'll decide to keep sony.

Use desktop browser it should be authenticated using Costco login
Link worked on 02/13/24. Ordered after verifying my Costco account (scary as my picture came up; wasn't expecting that). Ordered to add to my collection as reviews are great. I have premium sets (B & O h9i, Sennheiser PXC550ii, JBL Club One and Jabra 85h). They're all in my view very good but the JBL is heavy. I keep one in my office, one in my bedroom, etc.

Look at Misodiko earpads. They're thicker so your ear won't bottom out and hit the speaker.
Thanks for the suggestion - besides the squish factor... they're always so schweaty.... ewww..

No, items bought through costco next have to returned to the manufacturer directly.
that makes sense. I bought Anker headphones, but they were posted directly on Costco's website so I was able to return to Costco directly.

These or the Bose qc45? I know the Bose are more expensive but would love to know what people think
These, by a mile, if you care about sound quality. But if your primary concern is anc / connectivity, Bose. The slide the button to connect to previous devices (I have about 8-10 devices I regularly connect to) on Bose is unique and amazing. But the sound? The default sound on Bose sounds like I have a few cotton balls stuck in my ears. When you try the personalized Sound EQ in the anker app and then tune for your years, you'll be shocked at the difference. I even had the QC Ultras for a bit, but the EQ was very limited and they're just too much money for the sound quality. But take that coming from a guy with 50 yo ears that has to turn up the highs to get an even sound response. You really get a lot of bang for your buck with anker and customer support has been great through the years.

Micro Center
Thanks for sharing- I tried using their online chat but the agent indicated that "member-only" deals were not eligible for price matching. Also, be careful, while on their site, I read the following:

"VR headsets, Microphones, and Headphones (including AirPods, earbuds, and over-the-ear products) are only eligible for return if deemed defective."

So it may actually be more of a hassle than dealing with Anker.

How good are the jabra 85h. I have a pair but they hurt after 45min to 1hr on continuous anc because of the vaccum they create. Also there is heavy fill with anc on.

Is this a better balanced headphone compared to the Sony wh-xb910n currently for the same price renewed through secondipity/amazon. Which one is a better option in terms of anc and fit.

If you want a good WFH gift, get them one of the Powerconf webcams. Way better than any laptop cam setup plus it has a good mic. I use the C200 for calls at least 4 or 5 hours a day and the audio is always great.

Hmm. I had no problems to get a price match from them, they even shipped it for free and I received it yesterday. This is a third time I asked to price matched something and never had a problem to return if needed. As per "defective", I usually say that headphones loosing bluetooth connection with every device it connected to or something like that, it usually very hard to verify for the vendor without using and testing it for extended period of time, so it always worked for me.
Btw, I tested Anker qc45 comparing it with Sony xm5 and must say Sony is much more superior in terms of comfort, sound quality and ANC, which of course, justified by the price. I will return qc45 even though the price is tempting, however it is too bulky and gave me a headache almost immediately. I think next headphones I will try is Bose qc45. I believe it can be found in Costco for $170 or something like that.

I just bought a pair of these and for the $ these are fantastic headphones. Sound is good especially since you can tweak it to your liking with the Soundcore app. ANC and Hear through are great and again can be adjusted through the Soundcore app. Maybe not as good as Sony or Bose, but it's up there. Battery life is insane.

Only things I don't like is that it doesn't have auto pause when you remove the headphones.

Oh I guess it's all based on who you speak to. Did you do it thru chat or did you call? They asked me for the link and when that didn't work (since they had to log in), I sent them a screenshot and was told they don't match "member only" sales.

But good tip on getting around their strict return policy- thanks.

why would you get these bulky big headphone vs something like apple airpod pro or other other airbuds with noise cancel? just curious cos I think these big headphones in general are too bulky and big inconvenience when traveling.
