The voice chat is always the big downfall and thats more the fault of bluetooth in general. When you enable the mic, bluetooth switches into 'phone call' mode. the headphone audio quality goes down so latency can go down and also to maintain bandwidth for the voice channel. You can overcome this by using the corded option into a mic/headphone plug on your pc. Otherwise, what you really want is a gaming headset with a dedicated dongle, which on the good ones will even allow you to have a separate voice chat channel in addition to the spatial game audio.

No EQ can increase the amplification of these. No EQ can make the bass decent. Trust me, I own 5 other full size bluetooth headphones, and many other wired headphones from sennheiser and hifiman. The anker are my worst headphones I own, worse than 25 dollar monoprice blutooth headphones I found on slickdeals last year.

Plenty of volumn and bass for me. Never have to max out the volumn. Not a heavy bass head myself though. I wouldn't compare it to wire Sennheiser or Hifiman though. But it's a great bluetooth headphones after EQ and using Ldac. Try my EQs +6 +5 -4 -6 0 +1 -.5 +1 to see if it works for you.

Just got mine yesterday. I thought I will love it given all the great comments from SDers. But it's much heavier than my qc 25. I weighed it at 300g vs 200g of my qc 25. That weight with a wider and less clamping headband made it unstable when I walk even with the tightest adjustment. When I look down to pick something up, it wants to fall off. Those also made the NC quality inconsistent because of leakage from unstable ear cushions. I love the NC when I sit still which is significantly better than qc 25. I need the stability when I move because I like wearing them when I do woodworking especially when saws are running. Working with anker for return.

Update: Anker customer service team let me either return it with shipping out of my pocket or they refund partially at 15% to let me keep it. Not very happy with either but I would take the partial refund for less hassle.

I worry about stability with all wireless headphones. They all look like they were only designed for stationary listening. It makes me want to get IEMs, or even something with a clip like these:

I was on SD a long time ago and it does seem like there are a lot fake comments to promote products. It seems a lot different now vs back then.

Edited to add: I have never used any Anker headphones or earbuds, so am not weighing in as to how these sound.
