Do you have other Iem's or headphones to compare to?

The bose ultra are better IMO (I've had them all). The ultras ability to use higher res Bluetooth formats makes a big difference. I never loved the qc45s, found them kinda bland. The apple airpod Max's are the best sounding out of the box. The Sony xm4s are very uncomfortable for me. The xm5s are better for comfort, but don't sound that great, kinda artificial to me. NC on most of them is fine for most people, although the airpod Max's and Bose do the best (again, my OPINION based on MY ears, you might not agree). since I've had them all, figured I'd share. I have no brand loyalty or hatred.
The $160 that the poster mentioned for the XM5's was a unicorn event that only a few got a hold of. The alert didn't even go off for me and it was already out of stock.

Second, I have both. XM5s are still better. I will say the QC Ultras are more comfy as they don't get your ears as hot

Bose has advantage in:
1. App is waaaaaay better
2. Comfort & heat
3. Spatial audio
That's about it.
