When my first year expired and they bumped the price I called and without an issue they gave me the original price and a $5 discount. I think I pay $30 now
Edit, its actually $35 now, was $45 originally the first year
Yeah, he made the right choice. Why argue with CS, they can add 2+2 and often get close to 4 as an answer. You're more valuable at $35x12 every year than $35x12 every other year.

At the end of the day, I prefer Frontier or some other ISP only(FiberFirst). Spectrum and the others have ulterior motives and keep pushing cable/phone for no apparent reason.

Be aware that while the (2) eero pro 6 that frontier supplies with 1 gig service is a nice piece of equipment, it struggles to actually throughput 1 gig service, both hardwired and wirelessly. This is well documented on sites like reddit.
Frontier has a site where customers can sign up to be notified when the eero max 7 is "available" through frontier, but it's unclear whether this upgrade will be free. The 7 can comfortably handle gig internet speeds: https://lp.frontier.com/max7
Also do i have to use the equipment they are trying to give with the service? I have a very nice, expensive modem and router already that i use that I'm sure is better than theirs in speed performance.
Lastly when the year promo price ends. How much does it go up? And can they just raise the monthly price anytime they want? Thanks for any responses in advance!

That fee was instituted when they advised they wouldn't (or couldn't?) charge a monthly fee anymore for renting their router, whether you actually had their router or not.
Buyers just beware. They get that money back later.
Overall, its been a great provided service unless they have an outage, you have to call into them for resolving anything, or you're disconnecting the account.
