This is a new product line to Amazon but apparently a very highly regarded brand in India. Clip the 30% off coupon. $2.77/pouch with 5% SS.. Less with 15% SS. Free Prime shipping.
I couldn't find reviews online. Looks like it went live Jan 23rd on Amazon.Sold and Shipped by Amazon.
Seems like high quality ingredients. The other flavors have less sodium than the Tikka if that's important. No price history so can't say for sure it's a "deal" as there appears to be no other retailer in the USA selling this brand.
4 flavors avail, all vegan. All around the same price AC.

I suppose "deal" is relative. With 5% SS, this deal is 10% less than you said you pay in a B&M store, and these are shipped to your house...no need to drive/shop somewhere. With 15% SS, this deal is $2.18/pouch, or 28% less than what you pay. Many consider that a "deal." Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the quality matters to compare products. MTR uses "edible vegetable oil/fat" and Haldiram has over 1700mg of sodium per packet! The Tata Raasa product has 35% less sodium and uses sunflower oil.
Thank you for posting this deal, repped. But no need to be defensive. He is referring to the Tasty Bite brand sold at Costco. Mine used to carry channa but I think now only has madras lentils. No one is suggesting driving to Costco specifically to search for this like some YMMV deal. Many families shop there every few weeks for groceries.

I think it depends on if you're sensitive to sodium. The tikka has a lot more sodium than the lentils. Personally I'm going for the red bean curry. Based on what I've read they all have authentic Indian spices so prob can't go wrong with any.
Doesn't look like much of a deal to me.
I typically buy such Ready to Eat packs from my local grocery store. MTR or Haldiram brand, 10.5 oz boxes at ~$3 / box.

Costco sells very similar products and I think the price point is better actually. Might depend if on a sale. Suggest atleast comparing to your Costco offerings in the warehouse if you're thinking about it this deal.

How about a link to "very similar products?" Would be nice to compare. You "THINK the price point is better…" but it "might depend if on a sale [sic]." You "suggest atleast [sic] comparing…in the warehouse if you're thinking about it this deal [sic]."
So, spend time and gas to drive to and then go walkthrough Costco hunting for unnamed very similar products at maybe a better price (if on sale) and deal with the parking and crowds and checkout etc.?
A lot of SD'ers aren't near a Costco and/or members, and even if they were would choose to shop from home and have Amazon Prime ship directly to their home.

Tasty bite and kitchen of india brand options are $4+ in stores these days, everyday dal is $5+... These look good, but they all have ship dates a month out.
Tata is such a big conglomerate, selling/producing everything from cars to steel and now food. Pouch Indian food on the other hand is rarely good. I'd definitely pass on this.

Looks good I do like chickpeas and lentils...and love spicy and Indian food, in general. Any suggestions on which to try if only one?

This just means the factory may produce other products that contain milk. It's mostly an allergy warning.
