I will admit the site is a bit jank. But there's plenty of threads about this carrier on Reddit. That's where I read about this plan. They also have customer support reachable by phone. If I wasn't on Helium, I would definitely give this carrier a try. This plan is unique at this price point and could be perfectly usable for light or heavy data users too. Nearly every other carrier at this price has very slow data, or none at all after the allotment is done.

Can I test drive for a month with a new number on my backup device and port-in my primary number/device if I like this MVNO?

It's month to month, so yes. Would love to know how the service is, please post back with your results if you do!

From what I've read on Reddit, the speeds will likely be closer to 5mbps than 1kbps. Of course most MVNOs are subject to congestion restrictions, in which case it won't make a difference anyway. As I mentioned in my OP, the 5mbps is perfectly usable when you do get it and much faster than anything at this price point. Especially from a Verizon MVNO.

Seems a pretty good deal if you don't need a hotspot, as I don't see that mentioned.

Well I'll see to getting this when my Spectrum free year is up.. I'm not keeping them after. this is perfect for me because I only really use chat apps, or browse reddit.. after I hit the cap on most things I can't even use discord.

1 kbps jesus...
says "480p Video Streaming", does that count as the 1gb priority?

Just because someone on the internet said something doesn't make it's true!!

The company you are pushing in this thread is very clear about it... "between 1 kbps and 5 mbps"

There are many factors which will determine the actual speed.

Not pushing anything. If the carrier sucks I'd love to hear about it, so I know not to recommend it. just sharing here so people know the option is out there. This plan offering is unique and you'll be hard pressed to find more for less, especially without some type of promo. I regularly monitor prepaid carriers to see what they offer. I've been riding with MVNOs for over a decade. visible, Google Fi, Ringplus, cricket, FreedomPop, unreal, hello, mint, us mobile, Tello, red pocket, helium, just to name a few. Lexvor I have no experience with but if I need to leave helium, they will be first on my list to try.

Ringplus was awesome, but I digress. I've noticed quite a few deals lately and generally more data for the same amount of money. I wonder if data has gotten cheaper or if the demand for lower data plans has dropped. For $10 a month you typically got no more than 2gb. Recently I've seen good2go at 3gb. This lexvor plan is pretty compelling for the same price.
I also wonder if newer players like this lexvor and helium are putting downward pressure on prices which is a good thing for everyone.
