I didn't say I bought 3 of these.

I was referring to buying 3 smartphones and not being able to buy more online.

Sheesh. What is your problem????

1 order every 6 months, iirc.

Is that a new thing? There was only 3.5 months between my first two orders (second one in June'23).

I cannot figure out how it happened, but last night I was able to choose keep my number and the "go to a store" message didn't show up. It had me type in my number and then added to the cart to port online. I got excited and tried to switch to do it for the S23 FE ($99 with port in) and it must have fixed itself because the dreaded store message came up again. Has anyone else had this happen?

Mine just unlocked from an Aug 2023 deal.

Looks like T-Mobile network is the only US network that will activate e-SIM. Likely not on Verizon or ATT.

I'll add that it does work almost perfectly on Cricket and Visible with physical SIM but I did not check wifi calling.
verizon and att wont activate eSim on this phone even after unlock?

I order whenever the Android security updates is about to expire.
Heard horror stories about thieves hijacking your phone # and creating all sorts of chaos.

Will also order a phone when Metro offers one that has optical zoom.
Maybe the 23FE will go down to $40 like this g stylus 2023?

Oh no, I paid 60 for this not even a month past... What a luck
Get another one to bring down your cost basis. Two phones = $60 + $40 (now) = $100 / 2 = $50 per phone. You just saved $10 compared to before!

Same here, but for $40 it's bargain.

Do you need to pay 6 months of service to unlock or just wait 6 months?

Activate, use a bit for a month then wait for 5 months extra for unlock

Can you buy this online and port in you existing number? Or is it required to assign a new number?
Quote from taleefoonka :
Any work around to unlock it before the six months?
Quote from Marlin1975 :
I know the boost ones you could pay someone $3-4 and they would send a unlock code.
Not sure if these can be unlocked the same way?
