I got mine a couple of days ago, it times the lights out after 8 hours or so? Totally worth it for this deal price, a nice canvas looking thing, a bit small but perfect if you are limited on space... and light enough even with the 2 AA batteries for a 3M command strip to hold it to the concrete wall in my cell. Once it is lights out time, it is actually quite bright and nice looking.

If someone posts a deal on a Rita Hayworth poster I will definitely check it out. Assuming it is a lot bigger, it would definitely make things easier, otherwise I am gonna have to lose A LOT of weight if this 12x16 picture is gonna work.

The product page for Starry Night says that turning it on automatically puts it on a 6 hour timer. So it won't be on 24/7 and run through batteries. That sounds like a great feature for most use cases.

I wish it had a third option of "auto" which does the timer, and "on' simply left it on. You can purchase dummy batteries that convert AA to a USB power cable. With a bit of DIY work, you could modify something like this to run on AC without issue. Then you could put the whole thing on a wall timer and have it come on daily automatically.
